2) Playoff games, 8 p.m. ET. It’s time for game six (if needed) of the best-of-seven series in two sports. TNT has basketball, with the Knicks and Pacers; ABC has hockey, with the Stars and Oilers. Both are conference finals, setting up next week’s start of the two championship series.

3) “Mountainhead” debut, 8 p.m., HBO and Max. Jesse Armstrong is the gifted writer-producer behind “Succession.” Now he’s written and directed this film about rich friends who have a reunion during a financial crisis. That’s preceded by the brilliant “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” (2004) at 3:47 and “Mickey 17” (2025) at 5:30.

4) Movie series. The eighth “Mission: Impossible” movie is in theaters, with some great moments, plus moments of great excess. First, you can catch the fourth and fifth ones (2011 and 2015), at 7:30 and 10 p.m. on Showtime. And the Paramount Network has the first three Indiana Jones films at noon, 2:30 and 5:05; the first and third repeat at 8 and 10:35.

5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., CBS has a “Tracker” rerun; linking with a retired cop, Colter tracks a serial killer. And there’s more sports: CBS has soccer at 3 p.m. ET and golf at 5:30 … Fox has baseball at 7 … CW has NASCAR at 7:30.
