1) “Bring Me the Beauties” opener, 9 p.m., HBO. Hoyt Richards is a Princeton grad who was called the first male supermodel. He worked for elite brands (Versace, Lauren, Cartier, etc), made a fortune … and gave it to a cult. This three-parter starts on a busy documentary day: At 8 and 9, ABC reruns films on Richard Simmons and on Kennedy conspiracy theories.
2) “Anerica’s Got Talent” and “Password,” 8 and 10 p.m., NBC. Both shows will start their seasons Tuesday. To get us in the mood, here are reruns — last year’s 20th-anniversary special for “AGT” and a “Password” that had Chance the Rapper facing Jimmy Fallon.
3) “You’re Killing Me,” www.acorn.tv. This amiable show — great characters solving adequate mysteries — is thriving. Acorn has renewed it for a second six-episode season, and says it has the best start in the streamer’s history. Brooke Shields plays a mystery writer, so we knew this was coming: Someone seems to be copying the crimes in her books.
4) More dramas. At 8 p.m., CW has a new “Sullivan’s Crossing,” with Maggie looking for the right time to tell what happened with Liam. At 9 and 10, CBS has reruns of “FBI” (two children and a day-care worker are killed by an accidental drug exposure) and “CIA” (a cyber engineer is killed).
5) “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” and “How to Marry a Millionaire” (both 1953), 8 and 9:45 p.m. ET, Turner Classic Movies. Marilyn Monroe stars in both comedies. First, she and Jane Russell are showgirls on a ship to Paris … with a detective trailing them. Then she joins Lauren Bacall and Betty Grable, renting a posh penthouse, in hopes of finding guys.
