1) “Sharkzilla Takes New York,” 9 p.m., Discovery. On its second-to-last day, “Shark Week” brings out its catchiest titles. This hour involves the search for a legendary shark; it’s followed at 10 by “My Strange Shark Addiction,” viewing people whose lives revolve around this interest. There are reruns all day, plus “Secrets of the Great White” at 8.
2) “Chasing the Moon,” 9-11 p.m., PBS. It’s the mid-section of an excellent “American Experience” film from 2019. Over six hours on three Fridays, it looks back at the space program. Tonight’s film sees the start of the Apollo missions and goes through Apollo 8.
3) “America’s Got Talent,” 8-10 p.m., NBC. This reruns Tuesday’s episode, a pivotal one: Judges revealed some of the acts that will go directly to the live episodes (starting Aug. 18), plus others that will be in a new twist — a “callback” round starting Aug. 4.
4) “MasterChef” and “World’s Dumbest,” 8 and 9 p.m., Fox. Here are reruns of Wednesday’s hours. First, the 12 chefs prepare a royal-style wedding dinner — in a castle, no less — for last year’s winning duo, Jessica Bosworth and Jesse Richardson. Then it’s the third round of a delightful game show.
5) “Boston Blue,” 10 p.m., CBS. The rookie cops, Sean and Jonah, go undercover to probe a danger to young adults. It’s a rerun, as are “Sheriff Country” (an assault at the high school) and “Fire Country” (Bode focuses on high-stakes try-outs) at 8 and 9 p.m.
