2) “Sheriff Country” and “Fire Country,” 8 and 9 p.m., CBS. After a mysterious explosion, nine children are missing. In the first rerun, Mickey must set aside personal difference and work with the firefighters. In the second, her deputy, Boone, links with Bode for a rescue attempt.

3) “Eugene Onegin,” 9 p.m., PBS. This marks a key turning point: The pledge drives have finished and PBS is ready for new shows. (Next Friday is its annual Vienna Philharmonic concert.) This production of Tchaikovsky’s 1879 opera (using verses from Pushkin’s novel-in-verse) has acclaimed soprano Asmik Grigorian in her second Metropolitan Opera role.

4) “MasterChef,” 8 p.m., Fox. This reruns the episode that focused on last year’s winners, Jessica Bosworth and Jesse Rosenwald. They’re marrying and this year’s contestants plan a royal-style feast in an English castle.

5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., ABC reruns the “Celebrity Jeopardy” finale, with Steven Weber, Mina Kimes and Ike Barinholtz. At 9, Fox reruns Wednesday’s “Nation’s Dumbest”; half the contestants have gone home now and the rest link into three “study buddy” duos. And at 10, CBS’ “Boston Blue” reruns an early episode that starts with a body found at the wharf.
