Yes, that’s a whole lotta Christmas

The main function of November seems to be to keep Halloween from colliding with Christmas.

The main function of November seems to be to keep Halloween from colliding with Christmas.
At least, that’s how it feels at the Freeform cable network. Fresh from its “31 Days of Halloween,” it has its plans for “25 Days of Christmas.”
This year’s line-up does have a few additions. It debuts a Christmas edition of “The Thrifting Show” at 10 p.m. Dec. 3 and adds a couple of Disney Channel shows — “A Very Jonas Christmas Movie” (9 p.m., Dec. 7) and “Mickey’s Home Alone” (2 p.m., Dec. 19).
Mostly, however, this is about re-rerunning certain mainstays. That includes a night (Dec. 10) for “Frozen” (shown here), plus its sequel and half-hour special. Others include:
— “Santa Clause.” The three films air at 4:30, 6:35 and 9 p.m. Dec. 2, then keep coming back. On Dec. 11, they’ll simply run all day — three straight runs of all three.
— Movie versions of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” On Dec. 4, the entire day will consist of the same double-feature four times — first the 2000 version with Jim Carrey, then the 2018 animated one.
— Carrey’s version of “A Christmas Carol.” It arrives early (1:45 p.m., Dec. 1) and repeats often.
— The three “Home Alone” films. On Dec. 18, they alternate all day.
— “Frosty the Snowman” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” which used to be confined to once-a-year on CBS. They air together on Dec. 5 (8:40 and 9:15 p.m.) and 6 (5:10 and 5:45 p.m.), then show up every day of the final week, Dec. 20-25.
