I have a few quick thoughts about the “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” finale, but I don’t want to spoil anything if you’re still planning to see it.

If so, please bail out now. OK, now for a few comments:

We kind of suspected Rebecca would choose none of the guys, didn’t we? The show that started with her being way too needy – moving cross-country to be near a guy she once liked in summer camp – had to end with her standing on her own.

That was a tad too pat and predictable. At least, the show took care of almost everyone else. Most people – except, alas, Greg – ended up wih a good mate or a great career or both.

“Crazy” has always had fairly good scripts and wonderful music numbers, cleverly written and beautifully performed. There was only one in the finale, but it was a good one – and was followed by a full concert hour. It was the music that has made “Crazy” fresh, fun and a piece of TV history. We’ll miss it.
