This is short-notice, but let me get it out there :
At 10 p.m. today (Friday, June 26), three networks – FX. Freeform and Hulu – combine for an event called “Pose-a-thon.” Billy Porter, shown here, will co-host.
That gives you a night of virtual shows. First, catch the Daytime Emmys at 8 p.m. on CBS; then switch to “Pose-a-thon” at 10.
Linked to LBGT Pride month, the event will be hosted by Porter and MJ Rodriguez. They star in “Pose,” which was supposed to be filling the summer, until the COVID shutdown struck.
Also included will by Dyllon Burnside, the “Pose” co-star who has hosted his own LBGT special on PBS this month.
Others, offering stories and songs, include Sandra Bernhard, Steven Canals, Angel Bismark Curiel, Our Lady J, Dominique Jackson, Patti LuPone, Jeremy McClain, Janet Mock, Indya Moore, Jason Rodriguez, Angelica Ross, Hallie Sahar, Ryan Jamaal Swain and Charlayne Woodard.
