Best-bets for Dec. 20: lotsa music, good and Gaga great

1) “One Last Time: An Evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga,” 8-9 p.m., CBS. Alzheimer’s has robbed Bennett of most of his memories, but he still does songs beautifully. On his 95th birthday, he did this gorgeous concert in Radio City Music Hall. Gaga opened the show, then introduced her friend (they’re shown here) and later joined him for duets. 2) “Annie Live,” 8-11 p.m., NBC. “Annie” tends to bring a few flaws – a weak story and a hyperactive Miss Hannigan. Beyond that, however, this production (done live on Dec. 2) is beautifully crafted. The small stage was filled with vibrant sets, dancers and action; key roles were perfectly cast, with Harry Connick, Nicole Scherzinger, Megan Hilty, Tituss Burgess and newcomer Celia Smith.

3) “Dynasty,” 8 and 9 p.m., CW. Fallon is in the hospital, Alexis is going to jail and… well, Christmas is coming. Last season ended with Fallon being shot by her scheming assistant and her mom being accused of pushing someone off her balcony, to his death. That sort of thing seems to happen to these people. The second hour will be a Christmas episode; then the show retreats until spring.

4) “Christmas at Belmont,” 9 p.m., PBS. It’s the 19th year that Belmont University – a Nashville school with a strong music emphasis – has this concert. It’s also the second time Josh Turner hosts it. Turner, who wrote “Long Black Train” as a Belmont student, will be joined by almost 650 student performers.

5) “Kissing Christmas Goodbye,” any time, www.acorn.tv. Most Agatha Raisingmysteries are fun, capturing Agatha’s joyful chaos. This movie, alas, goes overboard; the victim and suspects are so extreme that it’s had to care. Better choices on Acorn include two excellent British shows – the current light drama “The Larkins” and three “Queens of Mystery” movies coming next month.
