After a two-week pause, the 50th “Saturday Night Live” season is ready for its big finish.
Beginning May 3, it will have new episodes hosted by Quinta Brunson, Walton Goggins and Scarlett Johansso (shown here). Details include:
— April 27: It’s the second half of the rerun pause. Timothee Chalamet doubles as host and music guest.
— May 3: Brunson, the “Abbott Elementary” star (and producer and writer) has her second turn as host. Benson Boone has his first as music guest.
— May 10: Goggins has his first time as host, with Arcade Fire’s sixth time as music guest. Not your usual “SNL” host, Goggins is best-known for drama (especially “Justified”) or drama/comedy. Most recently, he did the current seasons of HBO’s “White Lotus” and “The Righteous Gemstones.”
— May 17: Johansson hosts, with Bad Bunny as music guest. It’s his third time … and the seventh for Johansson, who has become a show favorite.
She also has had at least six uncredited visits, including four as Ivanka Trump and one as Sen. Katie Britt, who did the Republican response to a Joe Biden state-of-the-union speech. And one thing more: On the show, she met her husband Colin Jost, the “SNL” head writer and co-anchor.
