2) “Call the Midwife” season-finale, 8 p.m., PBS. After some grim .episodes, “Midwife” remembers the joy. There’s Nancy’s wedding day, Sister Catherine’s vows and, of course, some births. It’s an excellent finish to a sometimes taxing season.

3) “Miss Austen” finale, 9 and 10 p.m., PBS. It’s the second half of a four-hour tale, based loosely on Jane Austen’s family. Cassandra Austen (Keeley Hawes) tries to hide her late sister’s letters from oafish relatives; she recalls past crises and help a good-hearted young woman, Isabella. Cassandra’s decisions are sometimes shaky, but Hawes is terrific, as always.

4) “The Simpsons” season-finale, 8 p.m., Fox. The 36th season ends with Marge fearing Bart and Lisa are drifting apart. It’s also the season-finale of “Krapopolis (9 p.m.), with Ty trying to prove he’s important enough to be assassinated. But “Family Guy” and”Bob’s Burgers” (8:30 and 9:30) aren’t concluding; this summer, they have new episodes on Thursdays.

5) More finales. “Suits: LA” wraps up at 9 on NBC. Once considered a key prospect, it sagged quickly and won’t be back. Also, “60 Minutes” wraps its 57th season at 7 on CBS. There’s a “60 Minutes Presents” hour at 8, followed by “Tracker” and “Watson” reruns.
