2) “Survivor” finale, 8-11 p.m. Wednesday, CBS. Five people still have a shot at being the 48th champion. There’s Eva Erickson, 24, a Ph.D. candidate and hockey player; Kyle Fraser, 31, a lawyer; Kamilla Karthigesu, 31, a software engineer; Mitch Guerra, 34, a gym coach; and Joe Hunter, 45, a fire captain. Two will be trimmed; then the final three plea their case.

3) “FBI: International” and “FBI: Most Wanted” series finales, 9 and 10 p.m. Tuesday, CBS. Most finales involve shows that will be back — but not these two. They did well in the ratings (CBS says they’re No. 17 and 16 overall), but networks are cutting costs. “International” wraps a search for a serial killer; “Most Wanted” chases a rogue government operative.

4) More finales. Producer Dick Wolf is losing two FBI shows, but he has four other shows that wrap now and will be back. There’s “FBI” (8 p.m. Tuesday, CBS) and then “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.” (8-11 p.m. Wednesday, NBC). Also wrapping: “Farmer Wants a Wife” (8-10 p.m. Thursday, Fox), “The Last of Us” (9 p.m. Sunday, HBO).

5) “American Experience,” 9 p.m. today, PBS. Here’s a fascinating profile of Edwin Land, whose Polaroids transformed photography (temporarily). That launches a strong PBS week, including a “Frontline” look at lessons from Hurricane Helene (10 p.m. Tuesday) and the Memorial Day eve concert (8 and 9:30 p.m. Sunday), blending emotional music and stories.

6) “The Cleaning Lady,” 8 p.m. Tuesday, Fox. Late in this hour, there are major changes in Thony’s personal life. Before that, alas, there are some extremely gory and/or violent scenes; also, most characters behave in wildly illogical ways. That’s followed by “Alert,” which wraps its season May 27. “Cleaning Lady” ends June 3; so far, neither has been renewed

7) “MasterChef” opener and “Secret Service” debut, 8 and 9:02 p.m.. Wednesday, Fox. The summer season is already starting; as usual, it has lots of Gordon Ramsay. His “MasterChef” involves home chefs, this time using duos — spouses, siblings, generations, etc, And at 9, he secretly investigates a restaurant (with an insider boost) before helping it.

8) “Transplant” season-opener, 8 and 9 p.m. Thursday, NBC. This Canadian medical drama starts with two excellent hours. The first finds two incoherent people (one with a foot amputated) in the woods; the second has a giant sinkhole. There are also strong personal glimpses of Bash, the Syrian immigrant; in brief flashbacks, we learn about his rescuer.

9) “Girl From the North Country,” 9 p.m. Friday, PBS. Life is pressing in on boarding-house residents in 1934 Duluth. There’s the Depression, plus the layers of snow and secrets. This can’t end well, but we do get deep human portraits and powerfully performed Bob Dylan songs, including Mare Winningham doing “Like a Rolling Stone” and “Forever Young.”

10) Sports surge, Saturday. Two more choices arrive at 8 p.m. Saturday: NBC has one of its occasional wrestling nights; CW launches a summer of beach volleyball. That’s on an overloaded sports day. ABC has the United Football League at 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. PT, and basketball at 5:30. There’s NASCAR (1:30, CW), baseball (4, Fox) and hockey (5, TNT).
