2) “Sheriff Country,” 8 p.m., CBS. A federal crackdown puts the sheriff in a tough position. Now she feels squeezed by the Drug Enforcement Agency, on one side, and her community and family loyalties, on the other.

3) “Fire Country, 9 p.m., CBS. This hour takes us far from the usual Edgewater setting. When Bode’s old life re-surfaces, there’s a perilous off-duty rescue and second thoughts about guilt and accountability. That’s followed by “Boston Blue,” with Danny and Lena probing a murder and protecting a ceollege basketball star.

4) “Happy’s Place,” 8 and 8:30 p.m., NBC. The first rerun is the episode that introduced Cheri Oteri as the health inspector; people try to distract her until they can catch the mouse that’s loose. The second has Gabby considering her possibilities for sperm donors … including her colleague, Emmett.

5) ALSO: Today is David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, a good time to catch some of the brilliant nature films he’s narrated. Try “Oceans” on Disney+ and Hulu, “The Year Earth Changed” on Apple and lots of films on HBO Max, Britbox or PBS sources.
