1) “American Idol” season-finale, 8-11 p.m., ABC. The night will be stuffed with performers. They include Alicia Keys, Nelly, Tori Kelly, Brad Paisley, Jason Mraz, Motley Crue, Gin Blossoms, the three judges and former runner-up Clay Aiken. Then someone — Keyla Richardson, Hannah Harper or Jordan McCullough (shown here, right, last week with Elliott Yamin) — will become the 24th champion.
2) “The Neighborhood” series finale, 8 p.m., CBS. For the past year, “Neighborhood” has known this season (its eighth) would be its last. That let it set up this finale — wedding day for Malcolm and for his brother Marty,
3) “DMV” series-finale, 8:30, CBS. Unlike “Neighborhood,” this has been canceled after only one year. (CBS will start next season with only two comedies.) It’s been clever, but inconsistent. Tonight, it offers a celebration and some power struggles.
4) “Brokenwood Mysteries” season-finale, www.acorn.tv. After a fairly clever episode last week (death by ukelele), this is a weak one, involving a restaurant death. Since this is “Murder Mystery May,” Acorn has more: “Murdoch Mysteries” and “Dead & Buried” continue; “The Island” — in Gaelic (with sub-titles) and English — arrives for binging.
5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., CW continues “Sullivan’s Crossig” and Fox has the delightful “1% Club” game show. At 9 and 10, CBS has new hours of “FBI” and “CIA”; both finish their seasons next week.
