2) “Password,” 10 p.m., NBC. For a “courtroom” category, one team pairs a policewoman with actor/rapper Ice-T. “You’ve got a cop and an ex-criminal,” says T, who had some teen arrests. They make a fun duo, in a lively episode (after “America’s Got Talent” at 8) that also has a guy who’s seen all 573 episodes of T’s show, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.”

3) Soccer, 9 p.m. ET, Fox. Fresh from sweeping all three games in the first World Cup phase, Mexico begins single-elimination play, at home in Mexico City. (The U.S. team starts at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Santa Clara.) Fox also has games at 1 and 5 p.m. today.

4) “Lucy Worsley Investigates,” 9 p.m., PBS. As July 4 nears, PBS reruns the second half of a documentary that takes a British view of the revolution. At this point, the war has turned global; battling France and Spain, England is strained to keep fighting a scrappy American army.

5) “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” 9:30 p.m., CBS. In a funny rerun, Mandy’s dad gropes for a new hobby, now that he’s retired. That follows the finals (8-9:30 p.m.) of the “Presidential 1776 Award”; Mario Lopez hosts and teens answer history questions.
