1) “NCIS: Origins” and “NCIS: Sydney,” 9-11 p.m., CBS. Last week, both were bumped when CBS decided to rerun its 50th “Survivor” season. “Survivor” continues on Wednesdays and a few Tuesdays, but this week the “NCIS” reruns return “Origins” (shown here) finds the future of the unit in jeopardy; on “Sydney,” a hospital ward is taken hostage.
2) “Beat Shazam” season-opener, 9 p.m. Fox. This music game show has skipped two summers (2020 and last year), but now returns for its eighth year. Jamie Foxx hosts, with his daughter Corinne as the DJ. The first contestants include bartender buddies and former NFL cheerleaders.
3) “Password,” 10 p.m., NBC. Remember those “Saturday Night Live” skits, with Kristen Wiig blurting out the password? That actually happens, early in this hour. There are fun contestants — a new dad and a nurse who has two banana-pudding trailers — and arguably host Keke Palmer’s best outfit ever.
4) “Beauty and the Beast” (2017) and “Cinderella” (2015), 5:20 and 8:25 p.m., Freeform. Disney has had mixed success turning its animated hits into non-cartoons. Some (“Dumbo,” “Snow White”) were dreary, but not these two. “Cinderella” (beautifully directed by Kenneth Branagh) and “Beauty” are terrific, visually and emotionally.
5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., NBC has a fresh round of “America’s Got Talent” auditions and Fox has Gordon Ramsay confronting more “Kitchen Nightmares.” And from 9-11 p.m., ABC has “Will Trent” reruns, sending Will back to Puerto Rico, searching for his uncle.
