1) “Nation’s Dumbest” finale, 9 p.m., Fox. A fun season ends with two bright people (shown here) who never quite win. Chase Hudson, 24, from a family of Berkeley grads, spent much of his youth as a Tik-Tok star and online student. Hilaria Baldwin, 42, the daughter of a doctor and a lawyer, has dyslexia, ADHD and seven children. Their final round is a delight.
2) “MasterChef” finale, 8 p.m., Fox. Last week, the two-part finish saw three home chefs rushing to make their entrees. Peter Egede. 29, of Atlanta, has culinary roots in Nigeria; Heidi Muster, 51, of Fort Lauderdale, reflects South Africa; Jake Kelley, 24, of Alma, Mich., reflects Mexico. Now they finish their entrees and go on to dessert.
3) “Slow Horses,” Apple TV. For each of its past three seasons, this British spy tale has drawn Emmy nominations for best drama series. It’s drawn 22 more nominations, including ones for stars Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden. Also arriving today is Prime’s “Neagley,” a Reacher” spin-off.
4) “Ages of Ice” opener, 10 p.m., PBS. This three-week documentary finds visual beauty and changing ecosystems in the polar regions. It’s preceded at 9 by a “Nova” hour that looks at the long struggle that led to a breakthrough in treating cystic fibrosis.
5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., ABC has the second half of its four-hour “Dancing With the Stars” opener and NBC has the “America’s Got Talent” results hour, showing who will be in the finale Tuesday. At 8 ET, Turner Classic Movies has “The Graduate,” which won an Oscar for Mike Nichols’ brilliant directing and nominations for best picture, Dustin Hoffman and more.
