2) “The Amazing Race” finale, 8 p.m., CBS. This began with 11 duos on the island of Tobago; it ends with thtree of them reaching New Orleans. They visited 17 cities in 11 countries, traveled more than 33,000 … and were very good at secrets. This race was actually concluded two years and 13 days ago; it was delayed until this summer … then delayed again, to help patch up the fall line-up. The final duos are brothers (both pro volleyball players), married parents and boyfriends.

3) “Saturday Night Live” Christmas special, 9-11 p.m., NBC. “SNL” has had a lot of time to assemble sketches for this special; it’s been around since 1975. Then again, it’s a newcomer compared to the Rockettes, who have been doing an onstage “Christmas Spectacular” since 1933. Tonight, they rerun their special – lots of family-friendly dancing – at 8, leading into “SNL.”

4) “The Blues Brothers” (1980), 6:45 p.m., Showtime. Speaking of “SNL,” its past stars fill up the night. This has John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd in a John Landis film, with big sight gabs and potent music from Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Cab Calloway and more. That’s followed by the “Belushi” documentary (2020) at 9. AMC has Chevy Chase’s “National Lampoon Christmas Vacation” (1989) at 8 and 10:25, surrounded by Bill Murray’s “Scrooged” (1988) at 6 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.

5) “SWAT,” 9 p.m., CBS. The team helps Chris with her personal effort to save a teen girl from a predatory religious leader. Also, Tan’s wedding planning hits a snag and there’s troubling news about Darryl’s father (Michael Beach), who is being released from prison.
