2) “The Cleaning Lady,” 8 p.m., Fox. Thony’s transformation seems just about complete now. In a tense episode, the good-hearted doctor must put on a front as a fearless cartel boss. That sets up next week’s two-hour finale, for a show that (like “Alert”) hasn’t been renewed or offically cancelled.

3) “America’s Got Talent” season-opener, 8-10 p.m., NBC. A ratings leader each summer, this starts its 20th season. That means lots of auditions now — singers, dancers, acrobats, magicians, more — with live episodes in August.. Mel B, of Spice Girls fame, replaces Heidi Klum as judge, alongside Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara.

4) “Destination X” debut, 10 p.m., NBC. Transported in a blacked-out bus, people have to guess where they are. Jeffrey Dean Morgan hosts; the 12 contestants include JaNa Craig (“Love Island”), Josh Martinez (“Big Brother”) and Peter Weber (“The Bachelor,” 2020).

5) “The West,” 8 p.m., History. This documentary had a two-hour opener Monday (rerunning at 6 p.m. today), with hours set for five more Mondays. Producers Kevin Costner (who hosts) and Doris Kearns Goodwi, tells of the relentless push west, and of the warriors who resisted. One is featured in “Sitting Bull,” from 9 to 11:05 p.m. today and Wednesday.
