ABC plans a country cascade

For one long, busy evening, TV will break out of its summer slumber.
That’s when ABC has its annual “CMA Fest” concert. Over three hours (8-11 p.m. June 26), it will have 30 songs from country stars, from Adkins and Aldean to Zach Top and Zimmerman.
There will be serious moments (Scotty McCreery singing “Five More Minutes,” for instance), but there will also be Trace Adkins (shown here) singing “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.” Country music is like that. Read more…

That’s when ABC has its annual “CMA Fest” concert. Over three hours (8-11 p.m. June 26), it will have 30 songs from country stars, from Adkins and Aldean to Zach Top and Zimmerman.

The annual specials are sifted from four nights of Nashville concerts. This year, Cody Johnson and Ashley McBryde will host; performing are:
Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Jordan Davis; Riley Green, Ella Langley, Parker McCollum, McCreery, Megan Moroney, The Red Clay Strays, Darius Rucker, Dylan Scott, Keith Urban and McBryde.
Also: Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton, separately and together; Dierks Bentley and Zach Top, separately and together; Jason Aldean, alone and with Travis Tritt; Brooks & Dunn, with Lainey Wilson and with Marcus King; Johnson, alone and with Carin Leon; Jelly Roll, with Brandon Lake and with Shaboozey; Rascal Flatts, alone and with Carly Pearce; and Brandon Zimmerman with BigXthaPlug.
