1) “Poker Face,” Peacock. The lure of a rent-control apartments can inspire many odd choices, including murder. That sets up an exceptionally good episode for Charlie (Natasha Lyonne, shown here in a previous episode). Awkwafina, Alia Shawkat and David Alan Grier are guest stars. Also streaming today is Netflix’s “The Waterfront,” a drama that stars Holt McCallany and Maria Bello.
2) “The Great North,” 9-10 p.m., Fox. This is the only Fox cartoon that, so far, hasn’t been renewed, so we’d better catch these new episodes while we can. First, Beef (Nick Offerman) must rescue the kids, who went to view the Kissin’ Comets. Also, Honeybee and Wolf renovate the guest cabin; Aunt Dirt goes rogue at the retirement home.
3) “Transplant,” 8 p.m., NBC. It’s time for Mags’ heart transplant, in a passionate episode that sometimes leaps between reality and her imagination. Also, one surgeon pushes his arrogance to an extreme; another, showing rare caution, finds trouble with two difficult patients.
4) “Ghosts,” 8:30 p.m., CBS. This reruns the episode in which we finally hear details of Isaac’s rivalry with Alexander Hamilton. It’s a fair good episode, as is the “Elsbeth” (10 p.m.), with Mary-Louise Parker as a decluttering guru who has a cluttered love life.
5) ALSO: This could be the night that settles the basketball championship; Oklahoma City is at Indiana, in the sixth game of the best-of-seven series. Movies range from a dead-serious true story, “BlacKkKlansman” (2018) at 8 PT on Showtime, to “The Wiz” (1978), a musical with Diana Ross, Michael Jackson and Richard Pryor.
