2) “9-1-1” season-finale, 8 p.m., ABC. Last spring, the show lost one of its lead characters, when Bobby contracted a deadly virus. Now his widow Athena (Angela Bassett) has been shot. As her colleagues await news at the hospital, a trafficking-ring mastermind is determined to silence her and anyone else who gets in his way.

3) More season-finales. On “9-1-1: Nashville” (9 p.m., ABC), Don’s marriage is still troubled, but now his crew is called into an emergency. And on “The Hunting Party” (10 p.m., NBC), John Corbett plays a master poisoner; also, people finally learn Col. Lazarus’ secret agenda.

4) “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” 8 p.m., CBS. Georgie’s publicity scheme puts Mandy in trouble with her TV nemesis. That’s followed by “Ghosts” and two “Elsbeth” hours, new (a filmmaker is killed while doing a documentary about a “trad wife”) and rerun (a celebrity wigmaker is slain).

5) “The Terror: Devil in Silver” opener, AMC+ and Shudder. Set mostly in a crumbling mental hospital, this may be too creepy or surreal for some viewers. But if you stick with the six-Thursday series, you’ll see subtly brilliant performances from Dan Stevens, CCH Pounder, Stephen Root, Assif Mandvi and more, including a compelling Judith Light.
