1) “The Last Twins,” 10p.m., PBS. Judith Richter was a married grad student before spotting a magazine article (shown here) that hinted at her father’s amazing story: In Auschwitz, twins were being studied; older than the others, Emo Spiegel became a big brother and then a protector, walking them to their homelands after liberation. It’s a great story, wrenching at first and then uplifting.
2) “The 1% Club” and “The Quiz With Balls,” 8 and 9 p.m., Fox. Most Fox shows are being bumped by the World Cup; these two won’t have new episodes until July 13. But tonight, at least, we get reruns Fox has soccer at noon and 3 p.m. ET, with the others (6 and 9 p.m.) on Fox Sports1. So here’s the terrific “Club,” plus “Balls” pitting Vikings and Bills fans.
3) “American Ninja Warrior,” 9-11 p.m., NBC. Things start with a noisy Las Vegas guy who has a strong home-town rooting section. Then we meet a young rancher who studies soil science at Stanford. It’s a vibrant start, setting up next week’s three-lane races.
4) “Sullivan’s Creek,” 9 p.m., CW; and “You’re Killing Me,” www.acorn.tv. Both shows are a week from their season-finales. On “Creek,” the perfect-seeming romance between Maggie and Cal wobbles — and she spends a risky day with Liam. On “Killing,” a podcaster seems to have a strong alibi; it’s an story, with a better one coming next week.
5) ALSO: ABC fills the night with “Celebrity Family Feud” reruns, including (in the 10 p.m. hour) wrestlers, women vs. men. And three days after Steven Spielberg’s “Disclosure Day” opened, we can see his “Ready Player One” (2018), at 6:38 p.m. on HBO. It’s a dandy video-gamer adventure.
