1) “Yes, Chef” finale, 10 p.m., NBC. We’re down to three chefs. Zain Ismail, only 28, has links to Mauritius, India, Texas and Los Angeles. Lee Frank, 46, is descended from Holocaust survivors. Emily Brubaker (shown here), 44, once vowed not to work with her husband (right) again. Now they do link; each finalist has two aides, for a high-stress, three-course dinner.
2) “$100,000 Pyramid,” 8 -11 p.m., ABC. Next week, this slot will focus on young lust, with “Bachelor in Paradise.” Tonight;s first hour has Joel McHale (who’s also a terrific games-how host) against former BET host Rocsi Diaz. It also has Bobby Moynihan against Jaleel White, of Urkel fame. Moynihan is also in the third hour, against actor Mark Duplass,
3)”The West,” 2-10 p.m., History. The first seven hours are reruns, taking us through violent stretches. Then the 9 p.m. finale focuses on the “Johnon County War,” as ranchers battled cattle barons for water rights.
4) “Milk” (2008), 8 p.m. ET, Turner Classic Movies, This portrait of gay-rights activist Harvey Milk drew eight Oscar nominations, including best picture. It won for Dustin Lance Black’s script and Sean Penn’s starring performance. Also, at 10 p.m., PBS’ “POV” follows transgender gamer Narcissa Wright, fighting critics as she chases a record.
5) “The Art Detectives,” www.acorn.tv. In Dublin, a wealthy collector of Titanic items is killed. That leads to a fairly good (and very depressing) mystery. The final minutes set up a much better story for next Monday.
